Are we moving? YES! But before I get to that I want to talk about a lot of other things happening in the Pickett household. I think we can all agree that no one thought 2020 was going to start out like it did. The coronavirus has turned everyone’s world upside down and ours is no different. We are SO THANKFUL that no one in our family has shown any symptoms or needed to go to the hospital for the coronavirus, and we pray that it stays that way.
Bradley isn’t flying as much as he use to, or really at all, and I know he is beyond ready to get back to it. A lot of his flying is for personal trips, like taking people to the Masters or to Disney World, and obviously those things aren’t happening. If those things aren’t happening then Bradley isn’t flying. I know it has affected everyone in so many different ways, from our health, to our finances and travel, it has touched every aspect of our lives. I feel a little weird writing about it because I know it can be such a touchy subject for some, but through it all I hope we can find something good.
Okay now for the not so serious stuff because writing about the serious stuff kind of makes me nervous, and I want SMS to be a place you can go to feel happy and uplifted.
YES! Bradley and I, and our sweet Ray Ray and Willie Girl, will be moving in June… hopefully. We are scheduled to close on June 1st and we feel very confident that it will happen. We don’t plan to move in right away though. There’s a handful of things that we want to do to the house before we move in (renovation series coming your way!), so I’m guessing it will be 2-4 weeks before we actually move in. I can’t wait to share the house with y’all! When we finally close I will definitely be sharing an empty home tour, so be on the lookout at the beginning of June! I am also trying to sell a TON of my clothes before we move. You can head to my Poshmark here to shop all of my clothes for cheap!
Willow and Ray Ray are AMAZING. They are the bestest of friends. They play 23 out of 24 hours of the day and Willow just loves to hangout with her big sister. We were nervous that Ray wouldn’t handle the move well since we will be leaving her other BFF, Emmie (my parent’s dog), but now that she has a little sister I’m not nervous at all.
No, we are not planning to have little Bre’s and Bradley’s running around anytime soon. If I had to guess we will start that process sometime in 2021… That’s all I’m going to say about that! haha
Did I mention today is Bradley’s birthday??? We get to celebrate his 24 years on this Earth today! Happy Birthday to the best hubby ever!
Honestly, even with everything going on in the world, Bradley and I are really enjoying our life. The married life is hard and it takes a lot of work, but I would say I feel the best I’ve ever felt in our relationship and I think Bradley would say the same. We are continuing to learn how to live with and love one another, and it’s going really well. I think the whole marriage thing needs it’s own blog post so I’m going to shut it down there.
I hope everyone stays healthy and happy! If you have any questions about anything please leave them in the comments below and I would love to answer them!
